Description
Tendergreen Mustard (35 days) Widely known as the quickest growing salad crop. Under favorable conditions tendergreen can be ready for the table in less than 5 weeks. Crisp, tender and delicious, this popular variety is also very high in nutritive value. The large oblong leaves are dark green, thick and easy to wash for the table.
Sow February to October, 1⁄4 inch deep, broadcast, or in drills 18 inches apart, thinning to 3 inches. By successive sowings every two weeks beginning early in the spring, the salad may be at its best all season. Winter hardy and long standing. A year ‘round crop. One ounce is sufficient for 200 feet of drill; 2 pounds will sow an acre.
