Winter Weed Combo

Description

Here is a terrific combination to get rid of pesky winter weeds and provide a clean start to the coming Spring. Weed Free Zone will get rid of existing weeds while Prodiamine provide excellent pre-emergent control for 3-4 months.  Mix them together now and apply to you lawn.

Weed Free Zone provides consistently fast control over tough weeds in cold weather.  It knocks-out and controls over 80 of the toughest to control broadleaf weeds including Clover, Ground Ivy, Spurge, Chickweed, Dandelion, Genbit, Oxalis, Poison Ivy, Purslane, Shepherds Purse, Thistle, Virginia Buttonweed, Wild Onion and many others listed on the label.  Unlike other herbicides, Weed Free Zone is very effective in cold weather because the ingredient Carfentrazone, which acts as an “anti-freeze”.

Prodiamine is a very effective pre-emergent herbicide that will provide 3-4 months of protection against a wide variety of tough weeds like Crabgrass, Poa Annua, Chickweed, Goosegrass, Johnsongrass, Spurge and many others.

Be sure to read all label instructions before use.  Mix rates may vary based on your lawn type.  The basic mix rate to tank mix these two products is: 2 oz of Weed Free Zone and 2 tablespoons of Prodiamine to one gallon of water.  This gallon of solution will treat 1,000 sq/ft.  Tank mixing these two products can provide a one-two punch that will eliminate existing winterweeds and will provide 3-4 months of top-notch pre-emergent control.
