For complete pre- and post-emergent weed control in St. Augustine lawns, nothing beats the powerhouse combination of Prodiamine and Atrazine.

Prodiamine is a professional-grade pre-emergent control that will help to sterilize seed germination for a 2-3 month period.  Our 5 pound jug will provide coverage for up to four acres.  If your stand of St. Augustine is strong and does not require additional seeding, applications of Prodiamine should be made throughout the year on quarterly intervals.

Atrazine weed killer helps control both emerged weeds and weeds from seed in St. Augustine grass and Centipede grass.  use 5 teaspoons per 1000 sq/ft for control over many tough weeds including henbit, moneywort, pennywort (dollarweed), chickweed, spurge, annual bluegrass (poa annua) dichondra, knotweed, cudweed, florida betony, lespedeza, mustards, vetch, sandspur, smutgrass, spurweed, swinecrest, woodsorrel and various annual clovers.  Will also help suppress crabgrass.
